Ludwigia Repens 'Rubin' is a stunning plant that combines shades of both red and green. It will grow uncontested under normal light conditions and good substrate, offering green lower leaves and upper leaves that are beautiful shades of red and gold. However, under very good lighting and with CO2 additives, this plant will shine with sriking dark red leaves, including the stalk itself.
Stems will reach 20 - 50cm in height and 4 to 6 cm wide.
Plant in large groups to enhance the decorative effect, and prune regularly to encourage bushy growth. The plant makes few demands, but if light is insufficient the lower leaves tend to fall off. In strong light the colour becomes more intense.
