Rotala Rotundifolia is a South-East Asia variety that has long, thin leaves and 15-30 long stems, 2-3 cm wide including the leaves. Unlike other Rotala species it is relatively undemanding, although it needs good light to produce red leaves. It forms side shoots willingly, becoming compact and bushy. As a result of this growth style, it is important to remember that this plant should be pruned regularly to ensure that light can effectively reach the lower leaves.
Most potted plants can be divided into several portions or individual plants to be planted separately.
Four (4) Rotala Rotundifolia plants are included.
