The Bucephalandra Deep Blue is beautiful variant of Buce. It is quite hardy and can be grown either emersed or submersed. It does not have high light demand.
The rhizome should be attached to aquarium décor, such as wood, rocks, etc.
While this can be considered a beginner plant, care should be taken to not make drastic changes to water chemistry as this can cause the plant to melt and die. Stable environments are recommend for all of an aquarium's inhabitants, including your plants.
This plant, like all plants, will benefit from CO2 additives, though it is not required. It is slow growing and can adapt to a wide array of pH ranges (6.2 to 7.5)
